Tried durian for the first time today, not in pure form, but blended with freshly pressed sugar cane juice. I'd seen people talk about it on the dead-on-it's-ass message board I used to go to, and some would say how much it smells and how nasty it is, so naturally, it made me wanna try it for myself. Right when the dude poured the blend into a cup I could smell it, it wasn't bad, but it sure was distinct, smelling it up close was another matter. Then came time to taste it....interesting, is all I can say. It's not flat out bad, but it's definitely an acquired taste, and definitely not your average fruit. If you've got a weak stomach and judge food by their smell...pass.

If I ate it on its own, I'd probably puke my guts out. Thanks sugar cane!
