Went to the post office to drop off a parcel. The lady asks me what it was, so I told her they were CD's. Then she asks if the item had any monetary value, so I proceed to mumble out "er, uh, I don't know...not really...?". I came off like a bumbling drug cartel member in his failed attempt at sending top class crack across the ocean.

Finally got around to try ripping a DVD, specifically the Do As Infinity "Deep Forest Live Tour 2001" into VCD format, so I can watch it on a machine besides my computer, what with it being a region 2 disc, and no hacks available for the standalone DVD players in my house. I spent most of the afternoon converting it, and so far I've only completed 5 out of 20 total tracks. It's easy, but bloody hell is it time consuming...but it's all worth it...next DVD to be ripped will be Oasis' "Familiar To Millions", which despite being a region 1 disc, refuses to play on anything but my DVD-ROM drive. And for that, Sony's going on my list, right under Bell...
