My headache almost stopped me from going, but due to Ail's unrelenting, and I do mean unrelenting, persistence, we made our way to the Coldplay gig earlier tonight. The performance? Tight. Noel wasn't kidding, these guys are top musicians, and I must say, Chris Martin is quite the frontman, not just in terms of crowd interaction, but the dude uses every inch of the stage, prancing with his guitar, but in a good way... I went into the gig bugging Ail that they shouldn't play Yellow, just to screw with all the little teeny girls who're dying for it, cause I knew something was gonna happen.

So the gig starts, and everyone in the audience decided to stay sitting, which was fine, but once Yellow came on near the end of the show, that was when everyone decided to stand. Again, which was fine. Now this is where I got in-fucking-credibly pissed... once Yellow ended and they started into The Scientist, which is the song I was waiting for, everyone decides to sit their cunt asses back down. How did I know that song would cause shit? For f's sake, that was the most rude act I've ever seen, way to show respect for the band you non-fans, if you stand, stay standing, and that girl who told me to sit can go rot in hell, wench... that was bad enough, but during the encore and right after In My Place, everyone started sitting back down, to which I proceeded to belt out "STAND!!!" Only a minority actually listened, but fuck, better than nothing... bunch of tossers...

More stuff happened, but that was the worst bloody thing me or Ail had ever witnessed (but I'm sure she'll post her perspective on this), the total opposite of an Oasis crowd (even though alot of people cheered when Supersonic blared before they came on) who'll stand right when Fuckin In The Bushes hits to introduce them during their stage entrance... otherwise, it was a damn fine show, marred by a load of twats.
