I wish I'd left that place a couple years sooner than I did, since the longer I stayed the more ill feelings I harboured toward that place, and I might not have used this migraine as an excuse not to check it out one last time (yeah, it ain't much to look at, with it being one of the last few surviving "traditional" theatres, but hey, it's not the tacky eyesore that the Colossus is... those damn alien atm's...). Around the end of my third year I started to really get the feeling that I needed to get out, I'd walk in there, look around, and say to myself "wtf am I doing here?". Every once in a while I'd blurt out to anyone who'd listen that I wanted to quit, and they'd of course say "oh, don't quit! You can't quit!". Stupid me would listen, and I ended up leaving the place way later than I thought I would and distanced from everyone, which might've been because everyone who I was down with had left the place already. I stood around for five years and watched all these people come and go (ugh, I sound like the kid in Onegai Teacher, err, only I was awake, not comatose...???...), while I stuck with it. But whatever, it's my fault, I should've made the decision for myself and not've listened to what anyone, friend or foe (and there were many, I'm sure...), said. But oh well, it's long over now... sayonara, you big, smelly hole.
